i’m alive!

hi there, it’s been a while!  i was hibernating… i mean recovering from my elbow injury thingy and finally started going to the park again.  i feel out of shape sort of… yesterday mommie A took me to Ibira and it was like going to PARADISE!  how i missed it… it was a full week of staying home, and when i say home it’s only going to the garden to pee and poop and then back home. and as you would figure i had to do something to stay entertained and alive!  i started eating the wall in my bedroom! ha!  mommies wouldn’t believe it :)   a master piece.

anyways, today we went to another park, one that mommie M used to go as a kiddo.  it was a fun, but nothing beats Ibira :) )  so we went to Ibira afterwards and that’s when the fun began.  simba showed up and we played and played and played… now i pooped for the rest of that!

i’m kind of sad mommie M is leaving tomorrow for work… she will be away for 4 days… :( but mommie A promised she will be taking me on long walks and playtime with my buddies.

stuff

last weekend grandpa Tó came to have dinner at home with me and mommies, it was the first time that he was home visiting since i joined the family and it was kind exciting, but i barked a lot at him at the beginning.  i mean he was hugging and kissing mommie M too much, way too much for my taste!!  she is MY mommie.  and i don’t like sharing her too much… after a few minutes i got used to him around and behaved very well.  just chewed my bone in my favorite carpet and listened to them having fun over a yummy lamb dinner (mommie A’s favorite!).  after dinner grandpa talked to me a bit and i enjoyed his company.  next month grandparents Vasquez will come visit us and i hear we will cover a lot of brazil, mostly south in over a month.  should be fun!!

these past days i’ve been kind of “morocoxo” a mix of bad weather (i hate when i can’t go out on the rain) and my elbow being hurt… not sure how it happened, but it’s been bothering for a week now and mommies have been really babying me… i think it was that golden retriever on that friday that played kind of rough with me.  anyways, today the vet said i have to stay home 3 days, argh!  just go for walks, no playing hard… and then i can start up again.  plus i’m taking some anti-inflamatory stuff that should help heal. fingers crossed.  i don’t like being just home. even though today i really enjoyed staying home all afternoon in bed with mommie A!  as mommie M predicted!  we were just going to read a bit and then we were out deeply sleeping for 3 hs :)

life is good! woof!!

ps: i forgot to mention!  i’m going to have a new doggie sis soon! still not exactly sure how i feel but it will be fun!  she is arriving next feb and should be home in may! yeah! plus mommies are talking about babies, so more siblings to come soon… those ones will be human babies.

border collie in action

sunny holiday!

after staying home all day yesterday with the rain and mommies being worried about my leg, it was a dream to go outside and play today! we all took our time waking up, eating and getting ready to go to ibirapuera.  the day was just perfect and there were so many doggies there… ah heaven.  i played with ignacio, alice and several other friends.  of course i had a couple of perverts on my case all the time we were there, but i managed to shake them off.  guys sometimes are persistent and only want to get on top of me!!! i keep telling them i’m fixed and don’t bother me!  there were a couple of border collies at the park today, but we kind of ignored each other.  after everyone keeps telling mommies that we are a weird kind that only play with our kind, i kind love playing with all breeds!  of course i have a slight preference to french bulldogs… they are just to cute and the perfect size to pull around and torture, ejejeje!!!  anyways, the point was that one of the collies, cuca, was just too funny!  imagine she was playing ball with her parents, but not the regular way, fetching and stuff, no… they would throw the ball and she would kick with her nose up in the sky and do a flip thingy in the air, it was amazing.  pretty cool to watch. i will post a video tomorrow.

so after about 2hs in the park, we had our reward = coconut meat and coconut water!  i absolutely love this treat, especially on hot days like today.  after that mommies went for lunch somewhere close by and we went home.  i was so deliciously pooped for the rest of the afternoon that all i did was strech so mommies could comb me and clean my paws… then it was dinner and bedtime!

life is good! woof!

ps: yesterday those noisy friends of mommies came back again, this time i wasn’t scared of that martin… he played with me and i really enjoyed his company.

the dirt after the rain

after staying the whole morning home because of the RAIN, mommie A took me to the park and look what i learned with a nice fellow golden retriever!  don’t be afraid to play in the dirt!!! now i’m pooped…

my toy

mommies say i play with ignacio just like my teddy bears… rough!

i’m 6 months today!

today i turned 6 months. mommies made sure i was spoiled enough… it’s been a great day so far!  i woke up to find out mommies were out running and maria greeted me and played a little (she is so nice).  then mommies got home, fed me (it was a special breakfast with pedigree pate! my favorite) and we were off to the park, well mommie A and myself because someone has to bring the bacon home, so mommie M went off to work.  at the park i had so much fun!  more than usually :)   i played hard with ignacio, poor thing he was scared of me at some point! eheheh… i totally dominated him and was pulling him all over by the ears.  i didn’t like much when that other doggie started calling him to play with him, i was there first! anyway, it was an awesome morning.  it was kind of hot, 31c, but mommie made sure i had water all the time and at some point it was so hot that she springled some fresh water on my back and it felt so refreshing!

after almost 3hs of playing, it was time to get mommie M and head home for some snooze and food!  i was starving!  more yummy pate (fed in my mouth while i was exhausted laying on the kitchen floor) and an apple. i slept for the most part of the afternoon and now have been enjoying mommies company!  we were hoping to head to the park again, but then it started pouring cats and dogs out :(   so maybe once it stops we will go search for obama (my other doggie buddy) my neighbor that usually goes to the park the same time as us.

life is good! woof!

we are famous!!!

mommie A and i!!!

not sure why people here are so worried with the dry weather… can you believe it?  i mean is like 27C all day long, no clouds, lots of light and lots of doggies playing?  come on… i would much rather have a dry day than a humid one ;-)

Novos recordes
